350 MHz oscilloscope probe X1/X10

The Pico Technology TA536 is a 5 mm passive oscilloscope probe with up to 350 MHz bandwidth and switchable 1:1/10:1 attenuation. The probe has been specifically designed for the latest generation of PicoScope 3000E and PicoScope 5000E Series oscilloscopes, combining high bandwidth with a robust construction for development, laboratory measurements, field service, and troubleshooting.

The switchable 1:1/10:1 attenuation makes the TA536 flexible for a wide range of measurement tasks. The 1:1 setting is suitable for measuring small signals where high sensitivity is important, while the 10:1 setting reduces loading on the circuit under test and enables measurements of higher-frequency and higher-amplitude signals.

At 10:1 attenuation, the probe provides a compensation range of 10–35 pF, allowing it to be matched to the oscilloscope input capacitance for accurate reproduction of fast signals.

The TA536 features an upgraded probe cable designed for improved mechanical durability, with a nominal overall length of 1.2 metres. Together with the redesigned probe hook attachment, this provides a robust and practical probe for both everyday laboratory use and field service applications.
